Lorient Station Quarter

The development of the Station quarter covers the station cluster as well as a larger urban project for Lorient and its district, integrating new housing and businesses. The project for the public spaces is anchored in the unusual history and geography of the land area, with its exotic evocation of long-distance sea voyages. Its aesthetic choices were made in harmony with the architectural urban heritage from various eras and on various scales to recall an imagined Lorient in a style that suits the contemporary concerns of this new quarter.
