Pierrefitte-sur-Seine Garden of the National Archives
The landscape project involves creating a wooded area that provides a green setting for the building. It will be extended in neighbouring projects, in particular the RD28 road and the Tartres joint development zone. Recalling the forest formations that used to be there, this wooded area is structured by wide bands of trees that fit it into the north-south grid of the site. Clearings let the light penetrate for the growth of differentiated plant strata. The planted fringes next to the neighbouring parcels are treated as gardened borders.
