Épinay-sur-Seine Banks of the Seine
On an approximately 1km stretch running alongside the Seine and on the fringes of the town centre of Épinay-sur-Seine, the development of the banks allowed us not only to offer the inhabitants spaces for walking and leisure pursuits, but also to recreate the links between the river and the town. One of the objectives was to remedy the problems of erosion of the banks using well-chosen plant species and to improve the biodiversity of the environment. The project offers a promenade along the crest of the banks, as well as systems of terraces and pontoons, which offer different ways to come into contact with the water and the river.
